During Underwriters Laboratories grueling testing procedures, this safe earned the (RSC) Residential Security Container Burglary Label.
2-Hour Fire Rated:
This safe has been rated for 120 minutes of fire protection, keeping the interior below 350° with up to 1,200° external temperatures.
Door:

- 4-1/2″ total thickness, includes a 1/2″ steel plate with unique proprietary fire and burglary resistant material.
- 2-stage dual-seal design utilizes a silicone foam seal with a heat-expanding intumescent seal.*
- 11 massive 1-1/2” chrome-plated locking bolts. Bolt detent system hold bolts in open position.
- 1/4″ heavy duty carburized hardplate.
- UL Listed Type 1 Electronic Lock with massive hard plate and two relocking devices. Group 2 mechanical and Biometric locks also available.
- Commercial grade adjustable ball bearing hinges.
Body:
- 2″ thick on all sides, consisting of two layers of steel with poured fire insulating material.
- Four recessed anchor holes provided to securely anchor safe.
Warranty:
Lifetime burglary, fire and flood replacement, plus one year parts and labor.
* Intumescent Door Seal: The root word, intumes, means to react by expansion. When the intumescent seal is exposed to high temperature (above 250° F), it expands to as much as 8 times its original thickness. In this expanded or reactive state, it has very high thermal insulating capacity and resistance to breakdown. This provides a strong positive seal between the door and body, preventing heat influx.
